An art exhibition showing Jesus as a transvestite surrounded by gay, lesbian and transsexual disciples has been put under armed police guard over fears it could provoke a riot.
The image of the Last Supper - by controversial Swedish artist Elisabeth Ohlson Wallin - depicts Jesus wearing a dress and high heels surrounded by apostles wearing S&M gear and lingerie.
The Ecce Homo exhibition opened in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, surrounded by 2,000 police amid threats of a massive protest.
City officials have already cancelled a planned Gay Pride march - timed to coincide with the show - after threats of violent counter demos by ultra right wing group Movement Dveri.
