Set to open in Manhattan's Chelsea neighbourhood next month, the plush accommodation aims to ensure man's best friend 'gets the same quality [hotel] as a human being does'.
Cared for canines can trade in their kennels for a comfy night's sleep in a double bed, or wind down by catching a film in their room on a bespoke flat-screen TV.
'As a New Yorker, when you go on vacation, and you stay in a fabulous hotel, with fabulous services, your dog is staying in a fabulous hotel with fabulous services,' explained investor Shawn Hassanzadeh.
Any pet guest looking to stay in shape can head down to the hotel's state-of-the-art gym, equipped with personal trainers and treadmills.
There are also three different playgrounds for the spoilt pets to play in or the option of a tour around the Big Apple for a small additional fee.
