You could say that 42-year-old mom Hope Adele Askew is adamant about her 10-year-old daughter's schooling. So adamant, in fact, that she'll literally burn the memories of minor educational failure into her face, just to make sure she does better next time...
Back in April, the unnamed girl was reading a book aloud while her mom was ironing clothes. But the girl apparently struggled with some of the words, pronouncing them incorrectly.
So Askew decided to punish her by burning the hot iron into her face -- twice.
