A Canadian mayor is in trouble after he dumped a 20-tonne boulder on his ex-wife's drive as a birthday present.
Dany Larivière is being investigated by police after leaving the enormous rock, gift-wrapped outside Isabelle Prevost's home.
The mayor of Théodore-d'Acton, near Montreal, claimed he took the extraordinary action to stop her harassing him.
Ms Prevost has in turn said Larivière has been pestering her since their split three years ago, reports The Sun.
The boulder is topped off with a pink bow on top and has the message "Happy birthday, Isa" spray-painted onto it.
Mr Larivière, who owns an excavation company, delivered the gift overnight using heavy-duty machinery.
Mr Larivière said: "She never had a rock big enough for her tastes, now she has one. That's the biggest rock she'll ever get in her life."
