A MOTHER who allowed her de-facto husband to sexually abuse her two teenage daughters, under the guise of teaching them all about sex and protecting them from sexual predators, today pleaded guilty to her own child sex offences.
The 43-year-old woman pleaded guilty in the Brisbane District Court to two counts of indecent treatment of a child - namely her own daughter - at Forest Lake, west of Brisbane, between May 1 and August 31, 2008.
Judge Michael Rackemann was told the woman, who cannot be named under Queensland law so as not to identify the victim, wilfully exposed her daughter to an indecent act and film.
Lawyers for the woman requested the sentencing hearing be adjourned briefly so as to her have her psychologically assessed.
The woman's guilty pleas come a month after a District Court jury found her partner guilty of numerous charges of sexually molesting his two stepdaughters.
