A HIGH school maths teacher in the US stands accused of having sex with four students and sending lewd texts.
Ashley Anderson resigned from her job at Aplington-Parkersburg High School in Parkersburg, Iowa, as a faculty advisor for various student groups and activities before turning herself into police, reports the Indianapolis Star.
The 24-year-old is accused of texting nude pictures of herself and allegedly engaging in sex acts with at least four male students.
The students were aged between 16 and18.
Anderson has allegedly admitted to having oral sex with two students and intercourse with one during the 2011-12 school year, according to a criminal complaint filed in Butler County.
She also allegedly confessed to sending nude photos to a fourth student and kissing him.
Anderson was charged with four counts of sexual exploitation by a school employee - a felony that carries up to five years in prison per count.
She has been released from Butler County Jail after posting a $5000 bond.
Parkersburg Police Department was tipped off about a relationship between a mathematics teacher and student on September 20.
The criminal complaint alleges Anderson had sex with an 18-year-old senior who was in her math class.
"The relationship began with kissing, and soon after progressed to Anderson performing oral sex ... on two separate occasions," the complaint said.
